Artistically, Mehi is ahead of his time. Mehi is a young man built on family values and one of his earliest influences came from his father, who himself is a powerful singer, so singing is in his blood. During his early years, Mehi has come across many of the greats, such as Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Ghulam Ali in the mehfils of his home town of Jalandher, India. Mehi's father was a regular participant and would always include Mehi in this musical experience. Mehi has featured on two tracks 'Ishq and Needran' for the 2007 Fusing Naked Beats album 'Witness of the World. 'Ishq' has been play listed for numerous weeks on BBC Radio 1 and the BBC Asian Network and have also been listed on the compilation 'The Beginners Guide To Bhangra' released by Demon Music Group worldwide. Mehi has since released his debut album 'The Rebirth' on 'Just Play Records with production credits by Fusing Naked Beats & Mehi.
